Live drawing performance
Dream Hostel 23h Performance by Mala Kline with live drawing performance by ShiSoH
Dream Hostel is a 23-hour performance by Mala Kline where the public is invited to spend the night and the next day at Onomatopee. During the performance, participants are introduced to the practice of dreaming through imaginative exercises, and they are given instructions on how to ask for and how to remember their dreams. The next day, performers and participants address the specific urgency their dreams reveal.
While the participants were guided by Mala Kline to unravel their dreams, ShiSoH was invited to translate their stories into images to open a new visual narration.
The performance is part of the exhibition and public programme ‘Dreams of dreams of dreams’, Onomatopee (Eindhoven, The Netherlands).
